Tamara Smith Achieves Certified Community Association Manager Designation
Scott Smith, Principal of South Coast Property Management is pleased to announce that Tamara Smith (no relation) has achieved her Certified Community Association Manager designation, CCAM, from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and has been promoted to a Community Manager for South Coast Property Management.
CACM heightens the professionalism and success of California community association managers by promoting higher standards of practice and ethical behavior.
Founded in 1991, the California Association of Community Managers, Inc.(CACM) is a professional trade association focused on elevating the professionalism and success of the California community management industry. CACM empowers a network of community management professionals working in large scale, portfolio, resort and high rise homeowners associations to share and apply Californias most effective community management practices.
CACM is the only organization in California whose membership is comprised entirely of community association managers and association practitioners. As such, it is the leading resource for California-specific education and certification, events, activities, products, services and networking opportunities to help managers and management companies achieve excellence in the industry.
Tamara is a native Orange County girl, with a BA in Business Management and has served in many roles such as office manager, software trainer, accounting and budget development, online education development, customer service, contract development, business owner, extensive background with general contractor related services and business needs, and has served in many volunteer leadership roles which bring to South Coast fresh ideas and skills that will benefit South Coast and our clients.
As a Community Manager, Tamara continues to oversee several client accounts, handle architectural and violation functions for all company clients as well as various other administrative duties while ensuring that South Coast’s core value “We Will Exceed Your Expectations” are always met.
